Flow Measurement Devices – Repeatability

Repeatability is the ability of a flow meter to indicate the same reading each time the same flow conditions exist. It is usually expressed as percent of full scale. Often, repeatability in a vendor’s specifications is based on shop tests conducted by the manufacturer of the flow meter within its recommended range of flow, temperature, pressure, and viscosity for a given type of fluid (e.g., air, water, or other solvent).
